Personalized Student Hub to Write, Review, Reflect, Create and Collaborate
In this session, participants will explore wiki pages, a paperless platform to create a collaborative, yet personal writing space for students in a variety of classes. Wiki pages by pbworks serves as an the extension of the classroom, provides a setting to share, peer review, and publish student work (writings, projects, reviews, comments) instructional guides, and ultimately saves time and hustle for teachers by storing all handouts, instructions, and student work all in one place for the coming years.

A Taste of Pi: hands on introduction to physical computing with Raspberry Pi
Bring coding to life in your classroom with electronics and physical computing! In this session, participants will engage in a hands-on introduction to coding and physical computing with Raspberry Pi computers. From LEDs to cameras, from motion sensors to Minecraft, we’ll use the same project-based format I use with my own elementary-aged students to learn how to program physical components with Scratch and Python. We'll also discuss how to integrate digital making with Raspberry Pi into classes at all grade levels. No prior programming experience necessary!
